SUPER WHY Smart Table Game suite Installation Instruction

Step 1: Go to

http://www.pbs.org/parents/superwhy/supercelebrations/smart/index.html

Step 2: Right Click and ‘Save As’ on the ‘DOWNLOAD NOW’ link. Find a

suitable place to save the file.


Step 3: Once downloaded, open the folder in your computer that you have

downloaded the file.


Step 4: Copy the file onto a USB stick. Note – do NOT open the file in the

SMART Table toolkit. You must install the file on the SMART Table first.

Step 5: Place the USB stick on the SMART Table. Open the activity kit and

select the SuperWHY! Activity that appears on‐screen.


Step 6: Take the USB stick out and open the activity on the main screen.

The SuperWHY activities are now installed on the SMART Table.

Customizing the activities (OPTIONAL)

NB: After installing the game on the SMART Table, it is possible to change the

settings of the activities inside the games. This is the same procedure any

other toolkit

Step 7: On your PC, open the .table file in the SMART Table toolkit by double

clicking the file.


Step 8: Once opened, click on the tick on the SuperWHY file in the left hand

side column.


Step 9: Click on the Super WHY tab on the top right. Click on the open button

in the middle and it will open the customization kit. This will open a web

browser with the Customization page.


Step 10: Set the settings you wish. Click Save Customization, then close the

window.

Step 11: Add any additional SMART Table activities. Note that only one or

two other activities should be added as too many will cause problems with

running the games because of restrictions to the .tableContent file size.


Step 12: Click ‘Save as’ in the top left menu bar in the SMART Table Toolkit.

Step 13: Copy the .tableContent file to the USB Stick. Transfer to the SMART

Table and open your activity pack.
